Terms of Use

Effective date: July 12, 2026 · These terms apply to the Menu Calculate app, operated by lweb.ch, Switzerland.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Menu Calculate you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Menu Calculate on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms.

3. Estimates, not advice

Ingredient lists, quantities, prices, food cost percentages and suggested sell prices generated by the app — including those produced by AI — are estimates for orientation only. Actual costs vary by supplier, region and season. Menu Calculate is not accounting, tax or business advice; pricing decisions and their consequences are solely your responsibility. Always verify figures before relying on them.

4. Subscriptions (Menu Calculate Pro)

Some features (such as receipt scanning) require a paid subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's policies.

5. Fair use of AI features

AI features are provided on a fair-use basis. We may apply reasonable limits to protect the service. You agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service, and not to submit unlawful content.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, illustrations and content are owned by lweb.ch and protected by law. The data you create (your dishes and prices) is yours.

7. Availability & changes

We work to keep the app available and improve it continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change over time; material reductions of paid functionality during a paid period entitle you to the remedies provided by the App Store terms.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or business losses arising from the use of the app, including decisions based on generated estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may terminate or suspend access in case of material breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law, place of jurisdiction Switzerland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
